I made The Violin mug rug for my granddaughter when she was in high school and played in the orchestra. It was one her favorite gifts ever. The project is quick and easy with fusible web applique, machine blanket stitching, and a bit of hand embroidery. What a delightful gift for the musician of music lover in your circle.
The 9 1/2" x 6" size works as well as a small wall hanging as it does for a mug rug to hold that cup of a favorite drink and a small snack.
